Anyone know why there aren't very many body kits for the CL out there? I've wanted to buy a front lip/bumper for the longest time. The only one I've seen that I liked a lot was Essarot's, but Im sure his whole kit is custom built. Anyone have any suggestions?

the only lip kits right now are the TL kit, which requires custom fabrication, the Versus kit, and the RonJon lipkit that is in production at the moment. do a search, there's plenty of pics for each of these kits.

As for the original question....

There aren't many body kits for a few reasons: 1) the CL is not for sale in Japan... 2) the CL is a rare car to begin with, not many around = not a big tuner market... 3) the CL was discontinued after only 3 years of the 2nd gen.

Ronjon's kit is probably the hottest lip kit for our CL, you can find a thread with pics in the black market on this site.

The TL kit requires mucho fabrication to get it to fit our cars.

Then there's the versus kit, which is okay IMO, but ronjon's is much better.
