298? 13 flat afr? i duo man, all that money for the emanage/tuning, and i dont think you need it. you could richen up the fuel a bit without spending all that on the emanage. but nice numbers.

i think it will boost power a bit, but i dont think it's worth the $1,000+ parts. i think you should put that money into something else like ported manifolds.

That's not bad. I'd boost up the fuel pressure and see what that does to your afr. however, it probably would be a little rich while at idle. You should find a fix for the emanage as it is necessary to pull a few degrees timing. I wouldn't go crazy on it as that afr of 13 is a bit lean. stick at it, once you figure it out, that's it, you don't have to do a thing but regular maint.

Did you hit almost 300 with the Methanol Injection and a tune?

Did you go to 1320 yet to get it config'd?

you have the straight plug and play harness from boomslang? you mentioned that originally wired it into ur ignition? also are the proper jumpers set on the emanage. i believe you have to open the unit up to set it up properly before you plug it in.

Good numbers, though.

yeah you are right, but then i seen them having problems so i overnighted the full harness. i set all the jumpers and pots to the way either greddy or boomslang told me and it still pops fuses. I asked couple people on the board who have it in there car already to let me know what theirs are set at but nobody can help me.I am going to try and call greddy again today.

I already mentioned you in PM. Take detailed pics of your jumpers and switches, send me e-mail with attachments and I can tell you how to correct them.

As far as Greddy, they're not much help since they don't support J-series and boomslang is a harness fabricator.

It's the same as oem, It manufactured by the same company. The the number and company on the side of both of them were identical.

Yep, you've got 3 jumpers and 1 switch set up wrong. I warned you before it's VERY IMPORTANT to set them up correctly before you turn the main unit ON.
Not sure if you need another e-manage, but you should not blow coils from now on. Check your e-mail with correct settings.

1. Hook up first.
2. Fire up the software (v. 1.13 is what I use along with v. 1.39 firmware upgrade)
3. Load the map file
4. Set up TPS calibration (your shop should know how). It's imperative that TPS (throttle position) is done before you fire up your car.
5. Run the car for 5-8 min (do not drive) and check REAL TIME data whether you can see Throttle position, RPM, etc. values. There are check boxes (under REAL TIME) need to be checked to view all settings.
6. Remove ESM
7. Tune e-manage on dyno

You can read the basic instructions (see above links)
Let me know if you need detailed.

That's it.

Also, after step 4 above and let's call it 4b you need to EXPORT file back to the main unit. Turn the unit OFF then fire up the car.
