Best mod to actually FEEL hp gains?

I've just looked at the tuner guide on this website. What mods have you guys done where you really feel a differnce in power? I thought about just throwing in a K&N drop in for now, but I highly doubt it will make any differnence. How about a CAI? Does that provide a noticable differnce? I had a intake in my truck and I think any power gain was in my head. haha... I don't want to anything that requires a lot of hard labor.

Any experience and thoughts are welcome...

OBX headers or if you got some 1G to spend the Comptech Headers Some dyno proven 32 WHP!!

On the crank that's some ~40 HP!!!

Although I do agree that actually feeling a gain from a CAI will not occur; it takes at leat 5% increase to really feel something. To make a broad statement that a CAI is useless is not warranted. You have no proof yet there is proof to the contrary.

There are dyno's showing gains from a CAI which you have seen.

nitrous is best for 1/4 runs... not for improved drivability.... It only works on WOT!!

Any other mod works on any Throtle position.

and the cai works best in vtec.

and the headers work best in the mid 6000 rpm range.

the car is pretty gutless until it gets up past 4500 rpm, imo.

and i even have the crank pulley.

CAI Is certainly not useless...especially when u get headers because the cai really helps the headers get those high gains. This is comming from a mechanical engineer/car freak friend of mine.

IN MY OPINION, you will feel the lightest 16" rims and tires more than you would feel headers+cai

light rims would work in 95'F and 40'F

too bad all light rims are ugly imo

Headers will give you a nice kick in the ass in the upper RPM ranges.

Headers if u don't mind revving the shit out of your car like if u went dragging. Best mod in my opinion is lightweight rims and better tires with Comptech springs and sways. Doesn't matter how much HP u getting cause without traction ur car still aint going anywhere. The rims and tires with suspension tweaking u will have a quick car just no subwoofer box in the back. Of course with above and headers look out cause ur getting best of both worlds.

It is rediculous how bad the stock rims/tires are ... compared to 235/40 Z tires with CT sway bars... I know my rims are not that light... but the grip and changing lanes are 10x better....

everyone keeps saying that,,,but for 17" stock rims, they are pretty normal...

i dont think there is any other rims out there that weigh less than 25 pounds that are 17" that come with cars stock...

the avg, is about 26 pounds actually.

Doesn't the 350 Z come with Volk racing 18" for their track model stock. My quess those rims are less than 20 lbs with Michelin Sports no wonder that car handles like a dream.

Actuallly a Sport Car should come with Stok rims lik BBS or SSR or Volk racing... or how about Center line... Weighing less than 1 lb / Inch... say 16 lb or less for 18"...

Tires you should have the option of Ultra High Performance All Season like the Michellin Sport A/S or Toyo T1-S... if yo live in the below the snow line.

for 18" tires, toyo t1-s proxies weight like 21 pounds i think...they are on of the lightest tires u can buy...

i believe pirelli makes a tire that is very light too, but it is discontinued i think

i think our stock tires weigh like 27 pounds on its own, but thats just my guess could be more, or a bit less
