I had my rotors resurfaced by Flatirons Acura about 3,000 miles ago...shimmy came back, so I just walked in on Saturday to see if they could check it out. Without even looking at the car, they told me they would give me new rotors and pads all they way around. Did the job on the spot while I waited! I can't believe how much better the new brakes are! Disappointed in the fact that the original rotors/pads were crap, but happy with this service (hopefully the last...others included blown gasket, new passenger SRS, seat rattles...) Don't know about you all, but I'm getting tired of sitting at the service counter.

 

That's basically what happened to me. Resurfaced rotors and several thousand miles later they were bad again. In my case they hadn't replaced the pads, and I think that's why my rotors went bad again so quickly. But, maybe they just don't know how to resurface rotors? PS- Same dealer..
