4th is probably good - you'll hear a lot of shit from this board if you dyno in 3rd

May be a dumb question, but why 4th?

if you can get many runs, try one in 3rd for comparison purposes.

Try both third and fourth. But in my experience, 3rd produced higher numbers even though it was contrary to what would be expected.

I will be on the dyno this Saturday to tune the e-Manage and will most likely be using 3rd. But 4th will once again be tried.

The #'s were a little lower in 3rd on my dyno's. Although I suspect the dyno was faulty anyway.

true, but the final drive is going to throw it off anyway. I would do runs in both gears so you have numbers to compare to everyone.

You would be well advised to follow scalbert's advice...

3rd actually produced lower numbers for me.....4th neted the highest....it's the closest to 1:1

I wouldn't be surprised to see similar results and hence the need to use both 3rd and 4th to see what is best.

Just changing the pulley (UR) and or a few other items could change the optimal gear.
