Well, I tried to share the same lane as a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and creased up my left front fender.

Her car has zero damage other than a scuff on the plastic cladding that runs along the bottom of the doors.

Time for the freakin body shop

Oh well, I guess for as hard as I drive the car that a minor fender bender is not too bad.

 

Who was at fault?

 

It was me. She had the lane. I think she either squirted out from a couple cars behind me as we were coming to a stop, or came from my far left blind spot.

It was raining, darkish, and her jeep was a dark colour with dark grey cladding around the bottom; just flat didn't see her in time.

ugh sorry to hear of this .. has happened to me before. did u switch lanes without looking or was she switching at the same time as you were?

 

I think she just got there ahead of me. Here is the scenario:

I85 South at 316...(those who live in ATL know what a cluster fuck that is)

It is raining, not quite light. Traffic comes to a grinding halt in front of me. I am rolling about 15 MPH, look in the mirror, check in front of me again because the traffic is really stopping, move left, see her right front wheel, jerk right, too late. Hit her right between the wheels deadcenter.

Hey, on the bright side. The CL-S did reward me with quick steering. She banged my fender, but missed my mirror.
