Awwww yeah... Got my CL-S yesterday!

Well, I finally did it. I bought my Aegean Blue CL-S yesterday and I love it!!! Got a GREAT price...

Quick question... The manual says 5W-20 for oil. Is that what everyone uses? It also mentions you can use 5W-30, but one should go back to 5W-20 on the next change. I'm surprised Acura recommends 5W-20 for this car. Why would that be?

I just can't get over what a sweet car it is. Glad to now be part of the family...

5-20 is useless

Forget what the manual says. The oil consistency is the same and it don't matter. Besides, I'm in San Diego where my car only knows 45-85. She doesn't know the meaning of the word bad condition. Next oil change, I'm moving to the Mobil 1 synthetic.

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to drive the car. Work is killing me... I am trying to take it easy on the car for the first 1000 miles. It's so hard not to jump on it off the line.

As for the break-in period, should I be driving it in SS mode, varying the RPM's while I'm in the city and on the highway. I'm trying not to take it above 3500-4000rpms.

Any other tips, tricks, etc?

Thanks again!
