theres no reason more people would do this now then then.
this bmw thats pictured has been round for years.
the term "ricer" is being used too loosely i think in this case... ricer = altezzas, shopping cart wing, exhaust big enough to stick your head in... etc... this wings are kinda cool IMO...

So in similar fashion, I believe more and more import/domestic tuners are going to do this, and it's going to become a "ricer" mod. Just like the BMW halo lights...I'm starting to see them on older gen Accords. :thumbsdn: :thumbsdn: :thumbsdn:
Just my prediction...
Ricer Rule:
1) Be it known on this 3rd Day of December in the year 2002 that no single mod that costs in excess of $3,500 per occurence can be referred to hereafter as "rice", "ricer", "Uncle Ben" or any incarnation of similar terms. Hereinafter said mod will be referred to as "Gawdy", "Tacky", "or "Flakey".
Exclusions apply, any vehicle designated by Hundai or Kia is not included in this rule. All micro-sub-compacts retailing new for under $7500 also do not apply. My car does not EVER apply.
Addendum: If any one above mentioned modification is equal or greater in cost to %50 of the residual value of perscribed vehicle it then again reverts to "Rice". Exclusion ofcourse being my own vehicle which is never capable of "Rice-ification", "Riceage", or "RiceARoni"

All kidding aside, from a design point of view, scissor doors would almost look appropriate on a lowered CL. At least, more appropriate than 95% of other regular cars, in my opinion. It's something about how it's profile is so clean; the doors swinging up would seem somewhat natural.
That being said, it would still be too dramatic for me. I had reservations about getting the spoiler.

hey astroboy if u wanna mod your doors why dont you switch the hinges on the rear door from the side to the back and have the doors open from the middle i think that would look pimp. ive thought about getting the door conversion done but ive been seeing it at shows alot more lately and soopa is right this is an old old mod
