The guy who sold me the headers said that he might be able to do a group buy on the AW headers for the auto CL-S, but he's not sure how many he would have. He wanted me to find out how many people would be interested. He'll probably sell them for under 300 shipped.

He said that he had pre-ordered 4 so far and he'll have them on tuesday.

also everyone else, please understand that I don't know this guy personally.

He's just someone that I bought the AW headers from and he shipped them fast.

I know that there are a lot of people on here who want headers but are reluctant to spend over a grand on comptechs and obx being the other choice - people have heard bad things about it. I don't know him personally, I just know that a lot of people want headers and don't know where to look for them so this is one of the places where you can get them for really cheap. Whatever transactions everyone makes will be through this seller.

I was very happy with the price and my transaction, it was shipped the next day.

 

Could you please leave a review after you have installed these headers regarding fitment? Also, could you tell me his Ebay name so that I may be able to purchase AW headers from him in the future. I want headedrs but I think I'm going to have to wait for a few more months before I can get them.

I'm from the Naperville area. The seller is from Florida.

AW are Alpha Werks headers. It's just another option to Comptech or OBX but cost a lot less than comptechs and seem to be more reliable than OBXs.

I don't have the headers yet. I sent him the money on thursday and he shipped them on friday, so I'll be getting them next week.

I don't know how much it will cost but the member named akuratek is a mechanic at my local acura shop. He's a really nice guy and he'll do my springs, shocks and icebox for around $200. I'll ask him how much it will be for the headers.

 

i live in Bartlett. Cool....acuratek seems like a nice guy...now if i can make that first move and acutally buy shit for my car.....

WAIT!! I didn't realize it was for the Type-S. I have a 99TL so if they fit which I don't think they do because the diameter for the Type-S is wider I'm still in. Also, can you ask your connection if he could possibly get the Alphawerks headers for a 99 TL-P?

 

Alright, I can ask him. These are the same headers that fit the V6 accord, so I don't know if theywould fit a tl, but i'll ask for you.

tony.. allmotor told me he would install my headers for $150 when i was thinkin about buying the obxs' ... i dont know if thats a hooked up price, but it sounded kinda steep to me especially from a private party.. not sure what u should expect to pay, why dont you DIY?
