Base to Type S upper intake 03 TL

Hi, I'm about to install a type-S upper intake manifold on my base TL, I shop also for the type-S ECU, maybe bigger cc injectors along with fuel rail and fuel pump, I've already got AEM CAI which I know I'll have to cut a couple inch to fit the bigger(longer) throttle body, also equipped with DC headers...

But my question is: do I have to change more things, I fear I would be short of connectors for this new piece... and if I keep my fuel system as is, would it be enough ?

If Somebody already done this Mod, I would appreciate some advices on that job ;-)

Thanks

Why would you mess with the VTEC threshold and Redline on a stock J32A1?
Stick with your ECU until you have a proper J32A2 Engine since internally isn't the same as the A1.

You will need different bolts, studs, and studs where the intake manifold bolts to the runners. The tl-p has shorter ones than the type s. You won't have to cut your intake tube. Don't get bigger injectors, fuel rails, fuel pump, or a type s ecu, you won't need it till you won't need it because you won't even come close to maxing out what you have with those mods and the j32a1 engine.

Don't waste your time or money on different fuel injectors, rail, pump or ecu. You won't need them. And honestly, I wouldn't waste my money on the type-s intake either. I would get a 09+ Im and larger tb

Thanks for your advices, I just saw that on type S there is a different head for the j32 (I remember seeing somewhere that J32A1 and J32A2 were only different on the intake manifold and exhaust...), so just changing the intake manifold will be almost useless without a head change... I've already bought the intake, but if is to gain 5 HP I won't do the swap... I know that the best intake manifold swap for my TL is the 09, but I hardly can't find one, or too much pricey I'll maybe polishing my TB to get the most out of it...
