Is the "AUTO" and "OFF" button suppose to light up with the othe buttons at night?

The reason I ask is becuz untill a few hours ago I though the clock never lit up! I read A post saying the clock is suppose to light up, so i gave my clock a beating and it lit up for the first time since 2000. The only buttons that are not lit up are the "AUTO" and "OFF" button on the climate controll under the tempature knob on non nav 2001 CL-S.

Can someone let me know if these 2 buttons are suppose to light up?
THANKS!

I have the same setup. My Auto and Off buttons do light up. I'll be trying to get my clock on tomorrow.

- my "Auto" doesn't light up anymore and
- my "Select" doesn't light up anymore

they all use to work.

and I'm glad i got my clock light to come back on b/c that's the one i need to see most, but still, WTF!

hahah this is funny because my car all the lights on the dash turn off except for the cluster. From the navi to the seat memory on the side sometimes it flickers sometimes it likes to stay on and sometimes its off. When im driving i can't even see the A/c button on my navi and cant even see the Map button either. Im stuck also.

Anyone attenpt to cange the bulbs ?

Does anyone have a scamatic or diagram of the bulbs and part #'s?

If someone can post i DIY on hw to get the panel off and change the bulbs it would be a great help to alot of people.

Alot of us have some sort of light out so if someone can post some pics on how to DIY , that would be GREAT!

The stealership would prob charge a arm and leg for this, and it is something we really dont need but would be nice at night to have them all working!

THANKS

If I were going to tear apart my dash, and replace the lights.....i'd be slapping in some LED's bro! Always wanted to do that upgrade to my cluster and surrounding lights, but I have heard horror story about people frying the entire board!

My int. bulbs were starting to go out as well. I got replacement LED bulbs from www.ledautomotive.com and I'm pleased with the turnout. They offer a pre-soldered kit, though more expansive, but better if your not familiar with soldering. I'll post pics later tonight.

My select, and one of the odometer bulbs burnt out and i just opened it up and changed it. No biggie. I didnt wanna do LEDs cause i would have to pay for all those bulbs and they're still good.

How is that panel held together? Does it just click off or are ther screws involved? The blue LED's look lovely but with the stock radio, (since they dont make a kit for it ) would look a little wierd green and blue.
Looks nice with your aftermarket radio!
