My buddy will be running 24psi on his 88z, 4lbs more than ever before, so it should be interesting. I'll be running the CL as well trying to beat my PB of 14.8@98 so hopefully I'll have some good slips for tomorrow.

 

where is firebird raceway?

 

It's south on the 10 to Maricopa Rd and then a RT. You can't miss it. I know you live in Tempe and it's about 10-15mins from there. You should go.

 

what time are you heading down there?

 

I want to be there early, so probally arrive at about 6 ish.

I'm gonna teach my stock michelins a lesson before I race, that's fo sho.

 

Well, we went and I ended up running a new personal best of 14.6 @ 97 with a 2.3 60ft. I just can't get the car to hook up, even with 24psi in the front tires. Kanuzme, a new member here ran a 13.2@109 with the 88 Z.

Congrats on the run Eric! Ken ran the turbo at 24psi? Any vids?

killer: at least you got the beach/ocean there. (and it doesn't get 115 during the summer there)

 

He turned the boost up all the way and it should of been making 24, be he only saw 21. The car was really not running well...he said it felt like it was on 4-5 cylinders and he needed new spark plugs. His best run so far at 20psi was 13.1@119
