Anyone have these annoying...

little black lines all over their car where the dealership had had the protective plastic covering? I have outlines in thin black lines of them over all of the top body pannels. I think they would come off if I had the ability to hand wash my car, but I can't right now and the drive through was just isn't getting it off. I took my car into the dealer for the 3500 oil change and asked them to get the lines out... but looks like they just ran it through their drive through also. Anyone else notice these?

Besides the fact that my car is the NightHawk Black I've not seen them.

Seriously, sounds like some leftover adhesive. Presumably, you have not had it 'waxed' after you got it from the dealer.
I had nothing like this.

I'd try something like tar remover or ask the dealer what they "used" on it....ask in front of say, a half dozen customers. Using what they have on the shelf will put the responsibility on them if it takes off the paint (however unlikely that is).

Bug/Tar remover (lightly), if that doesn't do it then back to the dealer (as above, with customers near by) so if you raise your voice they'll hear you..

Clay bar should remove them well. Don't forget to wax it after claying!

What are you, HIGH??? Brake fluid...no way is that sh%t getting anywhere near my finish. Read the label on a bottle of brake fluid. I hope you were kidding cause that stuff is one of your paints worst nightmares, right along with bird crap, rotting leaves, coca-cola, EGGS, and battery acid.

Try the Bug and Tar remover, also a can of WD-40 works well too--it's great for getting adhesives off of most smooth finishes: Glass, Metal, Ceramics, Porcelain, etc. Just spray it on directly, let sit a minute and then wipe off gently with a soft cotton rag/premuim paper towel.
