2011 TST Wagon Tech - Galaxy Nexus Verizon - Bluetooth stopped working

I've had my Wagon for almost 2 years now. The Bluetooth audio and phone feature worked perfectly fine with my old Droid, and my Galaxy Nexus... About a month or two ago, it just stopped working... I noticed that my phone wouldn't pair with my car... well it would connect, but it would be media streaming only, it said no phone or something like that, but could stream music...

It's really frustrating, and annoying... Anyone have any suggestions? My car is up for servicing (I'm at 15%) soon, so I'll have them take a look at this issue too... I'm pretty sure they're just going to say my phone is incompatible or some no solution like that...

Thanks...

Have you looked into this? I assume your Nexus has something similar.

Yes, I tried that several times... it gets stuck trying to connect my phone when I toggle it on and off, ultimately it just stays checked...

Bluetooth amnesia

There is a TSB for flakey bluetooth in the TSX. I've connected an iPhone 4S as well as an Android phone but after 2 weeks or so, my 2012 TSX Wagon forgets all paired devices. I re-pair, but the amnesia happens again 2 weeks or so later.

The dealer is supposed to replace the bluetooth module. My oil is at 70%, so it will be a while before I take it in for service.

Anyone has any additional info on this TSB? Last time my dealer acted like they never heard of this before and it was definitely my phone, but it happened with both Iphone 4 and now Iphone 5..

I struggled with this for a long time...I even took it in for service, to no avail. then I used this free app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....blueftp&hl=en

and it worked for me. it will occasionally drop, but it instantly comes back when I pair with the app.

Reviving an old thread to report that my wife brought the wagon in to the dealer for usual service and also requested they look at the bluetooth module. Acura took care of it, no charge, no questions.

I will report back in 2 months or so and let you know if the fix worked.
