yup..a black 330ci..dead even 0-60, but then he had to turn, so he slowed down...he didn't even look over again, had that "i have a bmw, my car is better than yours" look on his face i guess it was fun...not satisfying enough though

I had the same experience -- 330Ci Convertible, however. He got the better launch (better rxn time) but we were dead-even to 120mph or so. I shut it down sooner than he did -- at least he gave me the friendly thumbs up when we ended up going our own ways. -- the key to staying close is your rxn time -- take off VSA, and brake torque if you don't care too much bout your car's longevity.

The 330 is a little lighter, rear-wheel drive, and the stick always helps. Stock for stock, the 330 has some mean rubber compared to the crappy Michelin V-rated tires that the type S comes with. Of course, taking all that into consideration, that only means that the type S can be one mean M****r F***er!

That may be true, but at least you can trade in your car when the lease is up. Where as those people that brought their car will have to try to sell it or trade it in to get the new stick CL.

I had an experince with one though I was at a light and he started reving at me. For a second I was going to race, but I backed out and even if I would of raced there would be no point because I would of won. Now that I think about it I should of raced. Domn.

just tonight while driving home from a party this moron in a navy blue 330 was riding my ass, he pulls next to me at the next red light and i reved up the engine a little and when the light turned green we both went at it, i had him of the line(torque breaking) and i took him all the way to 100 and then shut it down, at the next light he told me his car was auto, thats why he lost, all i said was a win is a win

nice kill, so now we know when we get a 6 speed we will be able to beat there 5 speed. thats a typical bmw owner always an excuse for a loss. our ss is not a true manual anyway so i still consider it an automatic
