Yup, 2 V engines together. VW will have a W-8 on the Passat. They are coming out with a W-16 on the new Buggati.

 

It's good to see that there are people that know about it. I was trying to discuss it with a group of people that never heard of it before.

Here are some links to some info about the W8 and W12 engines. You'll notice that the cyliners in each V are only 15 degrees apart. This is very similar to VWs VR6 which is really a staggered inline six with one cylinder head. It was designed to fit a V6 engine in the space of a 4 cylinder. Enjoy.

The most mind blowing part of this technolody is that VW will be producing a W12 Supercar under the VW NAME!?!?!? heh

It looks phat though... at least it did in the pictures I seen of it like a year ago.

yah i have heard that engine and see the engine photos.. yah it is vw engine..and it has w8 or w12...it is v shape engine..but upper and lower cylinder each side..
