Anyone else remove deflector over moonroof???
So I decided to remove the deflector from my car today...And now I may put it back on ....
1st - What the hell can I use to clean that stubborn dirt "line" that is left from having the deflector on for almost 2 years (the paint color is fine its just ---well...just see the pic
2nd - Would that "chip" circled in red be enough to make you guys put it back on?

That chip looks pretty big so I would put the visor back on. I took mine off too, too much dirt and leaves were getting caught under it and I wanted to clean the car good. The opening is much bigger without the visor. It was starting to leave a mark too but wax got most of it off. I'll probably leave my visor off. If the darn sunroof was bigger it would be different, way too small. I noticed the one in a BMW was way thinner allowing more head room.

I had the wind deflector on my 2001 and it FUDGED-UP the paint royally.
It’s sitting in the garage right now and that sucker is NEVER going on my 6-Speed.
The strange thing was that it wasn’t just dirt & scratches; the paint was actually RAISED where the rubber was touching it.
Strangest thing I ever saw.
I did my best to CLAY and POLISH the heck out of it, but it still looked like hell when I traded it in.
And I even removed it every winter so the salt wouldn't get under there.

I had the deflector on my MBP CLS and after a few months, IMO - the sun baked the edges around the deflector and the clear coat somehow molded against the deflector edge. All waxes and Bug & Tar wouldn't do a thing - trust me I've tried!

Had a deflector on my '98 GSR...that crap doesn't come off without a repaint. I just left the deflector on...looked pretty decent so I didn't care. Only problem was that I see it every time I waxed or when I had to take off the deflector to put on my roof rack for carrying bikes.
BTW, anyone interested in buying a roof rack for an Integra? Fits almost all years...????
