Anyone in Chicago getting a AEM CAI

I am getting one. Maybe we can all get together on a weekend and install then in our cars.

Does anyone know a local dealer to buy one from?

For everyone in the "wet area's" make sure you get a hold of that bypass valve. It will save your engine's life!

Woodfield mall is da place to be.. I was there earlier today and that mall is so dayumn big.... I think i'm gonna jump da gun and get some springs and sways too... I've only heard good stuff about them, but don't like the idea of shyt being out of balance and the installers not seeing that when you pull the car out.

The bypass keeps the water out of the engine. Since the filter hangs so low on your car, when you go into some deeper puddles, water sometimes seeps into the intake..The bypass closes off the pipes so that the amount of water that gets into your engine is very minimal.

Thanks for the info.

Where would u cut the pipe to put the bypass valve in? Does it come with directions on how to install the valve?

Yes it does come with instructions, but all you need to do is find a flat area in the pipe where no bends are and cut it there. I think as long as it isn't too close to the filter or something like that it should be fine. I put mine right after the bend in the upper area of the pipe because that is where the accord's pipes seperate.

I had an AEM cold air intake with my Integra, and have had no problems whatsoever in Chicago. My car was dropped 2.5" Yes I will get the AEM intake with no bypass valve.

It's you car bro..Im just trying to help. An integra is still a nice car, but are you willing to screw up your 30k engine because you didn't buy the 40dollar bypass?
