Any of you know....

Anyone know if I'll need anything to get my Clifford Matrix alarm to work with my 01 CLS? I want to get it installed but someone said somethin about needing a bypass for the factory alarm? I dont know much about this stuff and I already did a search on it and I couldnt find anything about it. Also, what sorta things do you guys have on your alarms and where'd you get them at?

i have the 10.5, all you need is a bypass kit and a spare key (windows up and down, sunroof open and close, remote start)

How much does the spare key cost since I only have one of the origonals. Also, can I purchase different things for my alarm separately like remote start or remote window up/downs?

a spare is i think 40 bucks (@ my dealership) The alarm is just an alarm when you buy it, all the extras are seperate. Where i got mine installed it was 75 bucks for windows up, 75 for windows down, and 75 for sunroof open/75 for close. I want to say it was 300 for remote start.

dont get the bypass module that requires a spare key. DEI makes one that works for hondas and you dont need a key and its smaller....i forget the model number tho.
