Any good suspension shops in CT

As the title states, anyone know any good shops in Connecticut to have my coilovers installed for a reasonable price ---

I have a trusted friend/mechanic, and his skills are top notch, but i like to ask my favors wisely and ive hit him up too many times this year...

If/when I drive the CL back to Rhode Island, I will be making sure my route takes me through Branford for a lil stop off at Excelerate.

I will, i was a little hesitant at first only because I did not buy my coilovers from them (its not a line he carries) and just figured they wouldnt install either a product they didnt sell or a product they dont carry... But i will give it a shot!

that dude is wayyyy over priced if you ask me. he wanted a little more than $500 for eibach springs and tokico shocks and claimed he was "hooking me up" as long as I had him do the work . . . and he still wanted $300 to put it all in. i got the parts online, brand new and shipped to my house for less than $400 and had my boy put it all in for me. just a little shady i think

I don't ever use the works hook you up but if you found a better price that is fine. However I think you would be hard pressed to find TOKICO HP's and Eibach springs for $400. If you search really hard you may be able to find them for $450-$460. Of course if you buy new parts from a private part then you can get it for less. And we charge $225 to install suspension if you buy it from us and $250 if you don't. An install by your "boy" happens in his garage isn't going to cost him much whereas I have a brick and mortar store and am an Authorized Dealer for TOKICO and Eibach and it costs money to run a shop. $225 to install springs and shocks is a reasonable rate. Call any other shops around and see what they quote.

If your down near the southeast part of CT there is a great alignment shop that can line up any car no matter how low. Its something that really needs to be done after getting your suspension tweaked. If your near the north part of CT i'd hit up excelerate bought my brakes, and other stuff from him very knowledgable, and honorable. Prices were good too I dont know what this other guy is talking about. 225, 250 install at a shop...whatever thats a good deal.

225-250 is a good deal for install if you dont know how to do it yourself. Josh is a good guy. If you are going to fork over some cash it may as well be to someone like Josh (Excellerate).

I agree, in fact id rather pay a vendor who supports the site rather than a friend- if that makes any sense

Josh, i aasked you a couple questions via PM a while ago, carl from precision wheel also reccomended you, but like i said i wasnt sure if you installed products not carried by your store...

Knowing that you do youve got PM!!!

really not a big deal. i understand you have a place to run. it just seems like the profit is in the install and you are looking to make some more on the parts too. i found the shocks on www.gripmotorsports.com and you can get the springs for about $250 anywhere you look. i got it all for just under $400. the way you worded it to me gave me the assumption that you were giving me a break on the parts as long as you put them in for me. not doubting your work at all, just a little pricey to me is all im saying.

Everyone is welcome to go where they feel suits them best. I'm still trying to understand your $400 price too for the parts b/c that link has the shocks for about $70 each. That is $280 for the shocks plus shipping of $30 according to that website. Plus you qouted $250 for the springs so that comes out to $560 for the parts alone. I sell the parts for cheaper than that by about 10%.

Either way, go where you feel suits you best and thanks to all those who support us. We will continue to support Acurazine and we appreciate all those that support us.
