Aluminum Door Sills... want them?

We have a way to get them!

We will need a minimum of 10 orders... we will also need a CL owner in Atlanta to donate his car for about 1-2 hours so measurements can be made.

It's that simple :P

They will look similar to the picture below with a "A C U R A" engraved in the center. They are made from real, solid, brushed aluminum.

They will cost less then ~$60

All we need to go forward is enough definate interest and an owner in Atlanta, GA to visit the production company ASAP.

Are these sills going to cover up the plastic part, or is it going to cover the body frame that always gets dirty when it rains?

Depending on when this needs to get done and if I can take off from work, I can probably donate my car. Let me know more details.

Hey Austin... is this the same one you're working on? I'd hate to reply to two different door sill group buys. Then again, I can probably sell them to my fellow TL owners at work. Hmmmm :sqnteek:

alright guys, I've contacted Gator about making arrangements...

once he gets there and the manufacturer gives us final figures we can get the order in and get this show on the road!

Right now different "writing" will not be available. After we get some clout through an initial order the manufacturer may be willing to do a couple sets with few specific words on them. But don't count on it...

As for chrome. No... chrome sills wont be available... but again, after initial order... you may be able to order plain sills which you could get dipped/engraved elsewhere on your own.

I agree they should say Type S though...

If it hasnt been measured or done yet, why not Type S instead...

Didnt that win the vote by a large margin?
