hey, im pretty much about to purchase a black 03 6 speed cl non-navi ::cross fingers::

just wanted to know what mods it would take to get this car into the 13's for the 1/4 mile off 93 octane, not that i plan to take it to the track, but just wondering

would it be possible to reach those times with just bolt-on (NO FORCED INDUCTION OR SPRAY)

if i could call/email/im any current owners to talk about the performance area of this elusive car, that would be very helpful

 

there are a million threads about this. I happen to have the same car. black and ebony 6mt. to get to the high and (if you are a bad ass racer/driver) low 13's; header $150, supercharger $3700, not including install if you arnt going to put it on yourself. I do not have a supercharger but I just put the headers on last night and the car is fast as hell already. I am about to install the pullies $170, and Comptech Icebox Intake $260 and I think it will be plenty fast enough.

If you want a low 13 second car, there are other options out there...

CLS 6spd is a 14 second car... with the usual bolt on's and some DR's up front you should get into the high 13's...

EDIT: Just saw you comment about just boltons... Low 13's ain't gonna happen. Unless you bolt on a supercharger.

The basic bolt ons (Headers, Intake, Pullies) should be enough to do it.

 

Only if your a good driver, & have track experience. With just the bolt on's.

 

Joe only bolted on his Ice Box, and he hit 13.9. So we know it's possible with basically a stock 6speed.

 

And DR's I beleive...

 

 

Iv seen 6 spd cls hit 13.8 at the track and all he had was CAI intake, headers and complete exhaust with high flow CAT. So basically intake and exhaust. of yea and some 245 Z rated tires...

Speaking about a highflow cat...where can I get me one of those and what company(magnaflow comptech...)?
