it does need some custom work to fit it... i have an appointment on Monday to install it on my car... because 8 weeks is too much to wait so iam going to fit the accord one in the CL-S.

actually, you might want to go with the tl CAI, all you have to do is cut 9" off, and it fits perfectly. scalbert has done this, with pictures, and it's in old threads.

Does a CAI affect the performance of the car that much? I mean, I know it makes the car sound a helluva lot more agressive, but how much HP does it add? A couple? Would it be worth the price?

Does anyone know if we can pre-order it? You know, like playstation 2. I figure if every member gets one, it'll probably get sold out. Just my luck.

Iridium the cold air in itself would be more than enough to give the car a significant performance increase. Out of all the cars that I have ridden in, the Type S when it gets Cold Air performs more than words can describe, definetly better than other NAI (normally aspirate) engines.

Don't take my word for it, but if they should ever release the CAI for the Type S you'll see some significantly better performance and if it's about 200$ or so (or under 300$), well worth it.

I believe xblxmjx posted his dyno a couple of weeks ago. The higher rpm range of the dyno showed an increase of at least 10hp.

This may be a dumb question, but can you drive a car with CAI in the rain? Thanks.
