Acura On Line Showroom

I hope this is not a re-post. I've been in and out of town the last couple weeks...

I just got my winter 2003 Acura Style magazine and noticed the small article on page 63 about the upgraded website.

You can check out Acura Showroom and get a virtual tour of the models. I liked shifting through the six speed gears. I played around with the other models too. Fun.

For some reason the webmaster put that it'll only run on Widoze 98+/IE/QT, but I ran it fine with Safari on Jaguar.

I think you can get to the store through your ownerlink site or the main Acura website. I'm not sure why this new showroom website is not linked to the main site - they still must be testing it. Also, no TSX on it.

Oops, you're right. The Acura store only seems to have a link to the ownerlink. The ownerlink only has store access to the 1.5 year old DVD. No more keychains, hats, or golfballs. They need to fix that.

Man, I haven't seen the Acura Style magazine in a while! I had a '98 GSR and I was getting but it stopped coming about a year and a half ago. Then I bought my '03 CL-S last August and I haven't seen the style magazine yet! Did you guys just get it recently? Does anyone have the phone number from the magazine so I can call and see what's up with my copy?

I just got mine this weekend. It's dated 'Winter 2003'. I bought my CL-S in April 2002.

Another interesting links in the mag: Bose highlights how well tuned the Bose system is. Hmmm. Contrary to many on this board I think the stock system is OK for a stock system, but definitely not the best stereo out there (by a long shot). The web link highlights the R & D that went into designing our stereo.

There was also an article on how the interiors are designed. They highlighted Eagle Ottawa Leather as our leather supplier. To end controversy, the company suggests that only a mild leather soap be used to clean the leather. Nothing fancy.

FYI, the 360 View and some of the gallery images were all shot in Brea, CA on the birch Street Promenade,

Just in case you guys were wondering where they were done,

i know that area really well because i used to live there.
