The 325ci will win with no problems. Accord has no chance if stock vs. stock.

I think the 325Ci would bea the Accord V6 as well. Sorry dude, you have no chance.

Agreed.... if the Accord had headers or something, it'd be a better race. Stock for Stock, BMW wins......

I think the Accord will win if it's a V6. Accord has 200 hp, 195 lbs. of torque vs. the 325 who has 184 hp, 175 lbs of torque.

Well, according to car-stats.com, the 2000 Accord LX does 0-60 in 9.4 and the 1/4 mile in 17.2 vs. 7.1 / 15.3 for the BMW (they only had the 328Ci in manual), but they should be close in time. Even if the auto adds a full second to the BMW it would still win. I'm assuming the Accord times are for the 4-cyl......

eh, the 325 is just a bit faster than the 323. But barely. The 328 has a 36lb-ft advantage and a 9hp advantage over the 325. 328 is significantly faster low end and needs an intake and exaust to let it 'breathe' and get some more top end power.

the 325 is the same motor as the 323 with a less restrictive intake and exaust (probably the reason it has less torque)

Well, strangely enough it did add a full second to the 0-60. According to BMW's site, 0-60 for the 2002 325Ci auto is 8.1.....

Edmonds lists the Accord LX V6 as 7.8, so if it was a V6, I guess it'd be close.....

Eh??? Junior, its better to ask these kinds of questions on an AccordV6 board. Some of these guys quoting 17 second 1/4 mile times for a V6 Accord cracks me up.

As long as both are automatic it will be close, but if i had to bet $100 of my own money, I'd have to go with the V6 Accord.

V6 Accord beats the 323ci (automatic) hands down, the 325ci is close (maybe a toss up), the 328ci beats the Accord V6, and the 330ci in your dreams!

Typically 0-60mph times for a V6 LX Accord will vary anywhere from 7.6 to 8.2 seconds depending on full tank of gas or near empty, coupe or sedan.

Past 85mph, the better gearing on the BMW will probably give it a huge advantage. Our 3rd gear tops out at 115mph so you don't want to race at high speeds.

Until recently I had my 1998 3.0 CL with the accord engine. The car was stock completely. I never lost to a auto and a 325 stick was only 1/4 car bewhind at a 0-80 (3x). Stick 323 was never a problem....

If you must get auto, a CPO 328Ci is best. Lots more torque than the others.
