Any place cheaper the autocarparts.com

I'm getting the little things to add to the CL when I get it at the end of the month. I have a spolier, a wood kit, & I want the splash gaurds, moonroof visor, & the bra. That autocarparts website seems cheap, but then they add very expensive shipping, & for each item too. Is there any place chaper, maybe even the dealer to get these 3 items.

My experience with Tim for my CAI was great, even with a mix up.
I wanted to order a couple of t-shirts to show support, but $10 shipping (5/piece) seemed a little too much.

Not only does Tim have great prices but his service and support are unparallelled in the industry. No one takes care of his customers the way Tim does. Save yourself the headache(s) and shop @ www.autocarparts.com

You should email him. If you are going to order that many, I'm sure he can hook you up with a deal on shipping. Problem with e-commerce is most sites aren't intelligent enough to know that you can put multiple items in the same box and the shipping charge is the same.

Yeah your probably right!!! Tim seems very reasonable about stuff like that. I thought about it after I posted in this thread. Of course it was 5 minutes and 4 seconds later.

Yeah maybe I'll do that. I also live in FL, & see no need to pay so much in shipping for an in state order. Hell, I'll even pick it up. I'm stuck paying 6$ tax too.

I could be wrong...

But many items... especially the larger ones... I don't think their stocked. I believe their drop shipped, or shipped directly from manufacturer.

That would be why you get charged a flat rate for shipping.

This is a practice used by most internet retailers as it saves EVERYONE money since your not paying for your product to go from point A to B to C. Your just paying from factory to you.

Buy from Tim, I do.

Everything everybody said. Also Tim will make (or die trying) everything right if by chance something goes wrong. Your talking a bit more on shipping in exchange for the best and the most comprehensive stuff for our Acura cars your probably find. Go with Tim.

I know its natural to want to save money but you get what you pay for. What worries me is that your driving (own?) a $30K car and your picky over some freight charges. I hope you have the right car for your income.

Blasphemy!

My purchase of sway bars, headers, and intake was without hassle with Tim. OTOH -- an enticing coupon from "carparts.com" (not associated with autocarparts.com) caused me months of grief

As most have noted, Tim is a "known" quantity, and some of the vendors are not worth $hit.

If your name is "I Like Acid Burn" or "I Love Head-Aches", don't buy from Tim. If you value your sanity, go with Tim.

Besides, he supports the forum…

Since I live in FL

I live in Miami and I saw that ACP is based in Naples is there any chance I can go there and pick the stuff up myself or is it just an internet order thing and not a walk in place. It's not that long of a drive.

Maybe, but I don't know if they'd be reliable. ACP is someone you can trust and prices are good. I always am willing to pay a couple dollars to be sure I'm not getting ripped off, and in the case of ACP, I'm not even paying a couple dollars more!

Has anyone bought parts from A & H Motorsport in suburban Philadelphia? I ordered a set of Acura mudguards for the CL, and their price was $56.00 plus $8.00 shipping. The mudguards should be here Friday.

Guys..... Reliable???????? It's not anything major I'm getting. Only a few small things, that any Acura dealer can order too. A bra, Moonroof visor, & Mud flaps. As for the post about being picky, yes I am on some things. Since the place is close to where I live, I see no reason to have to wait for these things to be shipped, & have to pay for them, if I could just go & pick them up. Now I emailed them, & the told me everythinhg is shipped form the factory. So Looks like I cannot just pick them up. I only started this thread to find other places online to buy this stuff from. I hate dealing with only 1 place. It's like having to shop at the same supermarket your whole life, & never being able to get anything from another store. You cannot see what the other's have to offer. I also have a sales tax problem now too. 6% on top of the order, which again I see no need to pay, because the items are not being shipped from FL. Again another isse I emailed them about. Maybe I emailed the wrong guy. The person who replied to my emails doesn't seem to want to work anything out. So far I'm not impressed with this place.
