i had my friend and he had a friend and we are at this light. i was toying him earlier so he caught up. So once the light turned green we took off. i was keeping with him off the line and then as i shifted to second and he was at my bumper. he started catching up when i hit high rpm in third then started pulling som more in fourth

1998 preludes are not fast at all. the previous gen SI was actually faster.

vashuba- if this story is true then you should teach your friend how to drive! his car is faster than yours by quite a bit. I'm not saying it can't happen, just that you must have had a sweet launch, and he must have spun his tires for way to long, or launched too low and bogged down really bad, or missed a gear. I have the same car as you, with the same engine mods and plan on swapping in the h22 (prelude motor) because it is that much faster than ours. I have beaten my friends auto lude many times, but another buddy of mine has a 5spd with e/i/ and he spanks me. Even if I get him by 2 cars off the line, he always passes me in 3rd gear.
