Well I just got them and they are silver not green any more. The rubber surrounds look to be bigger and the overall speaker size ( the cone) is a little bigger. I will try to install them ASAP and I will let ya'll know how they sound and fit.

No they are the kappas. I got them from thezeb.com. They have the prices but no pics. They are silver not white like the perfects. I was going to get the old green ones because I didn't know when the new ones were coming out. He told me he had them and he was out of the green ones. So I figured I would try them. I am thinking I might get a new amp, one with more power. I have a soundstream 40x4 but I was looking at the JL 75X4. Do the jl amps sound good, has anyone herd them??

The new kappas sound almost identical to the last ones, although they are quite different, they all come with specific passive crossovers, and have a composite basket, they are very nice but are still plagued by infinity's power hungry reputation, and mellow highs

I saw that. the 6x9's have a crossover right before the speaker. I am thinking about getting a JL 300/4 which is 75x4. I thin that will be enough for them to sound good. We will see. I will let you know how it goes.
