My buddy's doing a 6MT swap into his 2g TL and we were both thinking about throwing a short throw in... and the thing that we were wondering is how to get the ball out of the plastic mold...



Question is, how do we get it out without breaking the mold...

 

Search for nspec shortshifter manual. Its says step by step how to remove it. If u are not in rush i search for u when i get home.

 

On the top there is a square clip that holds it down. You will have to break it to get it out. The new short throw shifter will come with a new one.

 

 

Very interesting... I don't know if I like the idea of breaking something and then replacing it lol.
