60K maintainance?

... NEbody have this done yet?

What does it invovle? and how much did you pay?

I'm limited to two stealers in my area, and so far I've been quoted upwards of $600.0+!!! WTF?! That's my Greddy EVO funding. (~780.00 through groupbuycenter.com)

Can I simply do the maintainance myself? It couldn't be much different from any other standard tune up right???

Any input would be much appreciated... thanks!

The things that should be done are in the owners manual. You'll have to decide normal or severe. Check with your dealer to see "exactly" what they do and for how much..I was quoted $250.00 for mine, and the dealer said they followed "severe" recommendations. I indicated why I should be "Normal" and a coupld of things I didn't need done (tire rotate, as I just put on new tires; I supply my own oil; air filter changed at 45K, by mistake), and he replied back to send him a list of what I wanted done. I put down the things from the Normal schedule, omitting a few and sent it to him, awaiting a response. YMMV

Thanks for the response guys

I hate it whenever I consider getting service done, I get asked to bendover and grab my ankles in return.

It sounds simple enough, perhaps I'll spend this weekend saving myself several hundred dollars and do the maintainance myself.

I'll check in the owners manual or contact the service department just to inquire what the hell they do for $600.00 dollars.

Oh Hellz yeah! That maint. req'd light was just crying for a new cat-back exhaust.

$780 shipped is starting to look much more compelling
