I need to find the white piece of plastic that goes under the shift boot trim piece. This is the part that the shift boot is stapled (is this realy how Acura originally installed the shift boot?) too. It has 2 straight tabs on the front and 2 white plastic "hooking" style tabs on rear part.

Someone please tell me that I dont have to buy the whole shift boot assembly to get that part?

 

Since it's not listed as a seprate part it would make sense you'd have to replace the whole boot cover.
Unless you can figure a way to fix it.
