Will 6 Speed headers fit an auto??

An auto's headers will not fit a 6 speed correct??

I heard this tonight and just wanted to hear it from someone else.

I'm talking about Comptech headers

 

6-speed headers should fit an auto. There is just a small bend on one of the 6-speed pipes to clear an engine stabilizer that the autos don't have.

 

6 spd headers will fit an auto.

Auto headers will not fit a 6 spd.

I might be wrong but doesn't Titand19 have auto comptech headers...I'm allmost poistive thats what he told me?

 

Newer headers are the same for the 6spd and the auto - older auto headers won't fit.

 

Yes, current header will fit both 6spd and auto. Older Comptech CL auto headers will not fit the 6spd. The only different on the new headers, was that the rear upper headers has a bend in it. That little bend was made to clear the 6spd rear engine mount.

 

Ant, I told you a while back that I got the Comptech Headers, from a auto owner. The 6 speed header fits both models.
