You're running as many quarter miles as can be, knowing the cops are coming, then scattering like cockroaches in the middle of the night."

The "person" (I don't know if the present tense is appropriate anymore) wrapped around the guardrail post I assume was the guy in the Ferrari. As far as I can see all limbs have been removed from their proper positions, and the not only had he been decapitated, but the entire skullcase had been sliced in half. The body probably did not end up collected like that; some poor cap/good samaritan collected the pieces for fear they'd get lost or stepped on by the looky-loos.
Not to intentionally scare, but what they tell you about instant death is only a fable meant to assauge the families of the victims. Death is a defined as when integral function of the organism ceases. In an instantaneous trauma such as this, the brain (or whatever is left of the nervous system) sometimes still functions until complete tissue death, which takes a few minutes. Sometimes the loss-of-consciousness circuit-breaker does not kick in (or might be sitting 20 feet down the freeway with the other half of one's skull.)
The world is not Hollywood, kids. It's too easy to cop a misinformedly nonchalant "well, if I die, I die" attitude. The true horror of what can and does happen in the real world shouldn't be underestimated. It happens to thousands of "skilled" drivers every year, and it can happen to you too.

Damn, that is messed up! That "person" must have been ejected from the car at a very high speed. The first two pics weren't bad, the third pic was getting worse, 4th picture was about all I can take and the last ones you don't want to look at for long. <shiver>
While stuff like this seems to be extremely distasteful, I think it helps people to maybe think twice before doing something potentially stupid/dangerous/suicidal in their car. If you think, What if that was me or someone in a car that I just wrecked into??? You might reconsider how you drive your car sometimes.
All of the air bags, seat belts, side impact beams, etc in the world aren't gonna save your azz if your ends up like one of those two cars.
