That's the P.O.S. car I'm driving right now because my CLS is at Park Ave Acura collecting dust. Waiting for a tranny. They have no idea of when they'll get a tranny, and when I'll be get my car back.
Driving that car makes me miss my CL, but I'm having serious thoughts of getting rid of it!

 

WOW, at least you got a Toyota and not a Saturn like MooMaster. Im surprised they did not give you a Integra.

 

I had a Dodge Stratus, when the tranny was getting replaced.

they need to give us a CL,,,, WTF.

 

I had a loaner for a day and returned it yesterday. It was a RSX (base model). I was too happy either as the car is definitely no CL-S.

Guess it beats a Saturn tho'

I have a dodge intrepid...FOR ALMOST 4 WEEKS NOW

 

Mine was in for the 7500 service yesterday and I got a 2000 4-Dr Integra... Man talk about almost killing myself.....stupid auto 4 cyl, sucker had NO power....

 

I think the intrepid has a V6 and I got spanked by a 4 cyl accord and a altima like a 95....its the slowest POS ever! It sucks...bad!

 

Okay, you've got me beat!

 

Now the question is...is that a good thing?

 

I think the worst one was either the Escort or the Cavalier...
The Saturn was a midsize at least....and very decent handling...
Although, I'm sure someone got the Metro...

 

I can top all of you! My TL-S is in the shop waiting for a tranny and they gave me a british racing green GEO METRO!! I can't even do the speed limit with that P.O.S!!!

 

The final straw which made me get rid of my Lexus was the spirited loaner they gave me when I had a GS300. I got a Ford Aspire for 2 days. Talk about a POS. I don't know what this car "Aspired" to but it wasn't a car. :sqntfawk:

 

NOLACLS if I did not understand wrong you said that Altima was a POS right? Sorry Wrong!!
I had 94 Altima before my CL-S for a yr and a half and with the help of the manual tranny it was pretty fast and handled decently!! Of course it does not compare to a CL-S but if you compare to other loaners I would take base Altima rather than base Integra!! IT would compete with the base RSX model but I would rather get the RSX bcs it looks much better..

Just felt the need to defend my old Altima..

Damn!! You should have complained...because the Lexus dealers out here always give Lexus loaners....usually RX300s....they actually have it in their contract to give you a loaner...a real one.

 

You dont have to tell me how bad they are screwing me!! I plan on swapping out tonite for an suv or at least a regular sedan. My dealer said the soonest I can get a car from them is 11/29. Right now Enterprise is the one giving me that P.O.S!!

 

That's why I got rid of it. The Lexus dealers in Northern NJ are awful. Don't give a crap. Acura didn't start off too good either. Then I found Park Avenue Acura. They are fabulous. Course, Wayneg has yet to let me have his Nighthawk Black Comptech TL-S yet for the day, either!

 

My wife and i always crack up when we see an Aspire. What marketing genius came up with that name ? I mean what does it aspire to be, a car ?
