2002 TL Type-S

I pulled up to some guy in a SiR. Nice car, but I thought they were fast. I am guessing he couldn't drive because I thought they were faster than the "S?" I am driving the TL Type S. Such a sweet ride. Anyway, we pulled up on Lawrence Ave. at a light coming down to the beach. He looks at me and smiles, and I ate it up. Smiled back and toooook off with the Sequential Shift. He kept up for a while but than I he was pretty much gone. Is the Type S faster or did that guy not know how to drive? Another thing should I put a Cold Air into the S?

Welcome, newbie...

What was it, a Civic? There's no such thing as the "SiR" in the USA. You've probably also seen a Civic "Type-R." They're just badges that you can purchase at any local import performance store for $10. If it was a sticker, then it was probably only $5

You probably thought he couldn't drive because his rice rocket was probably slow to begin with Keep in mind, these are the only Honda/Acura cars that can keep up with us: Acura Integra Type-R (you've probably seen a bunch of these "R"'s -- if it has 5-lug wheels and no sunroof, chances are it's an R), 3.2CL Type-S and Acura Legend 5-speed. The S2000 and NSX should smoke us, unless they REALLY suck as a driver.

Lightweight, stick shift cars can usually hang with us the first second or two, but then their torque -- or lack of torque -- comes into play.

Probably both. Anyways, good kill

The car already has 2000 km on it. I have been driving around very nicely until the civic pulled up to me with a grin...Sorry to scare ya!
