2001 cls braking problems?

i warped the rotors 5000 miles into the car and now with about 50,000 miles on her (mind you still first tranny) i notice a problem again with brakes. every time i brake at high speeds, usually 55+mph, the steering wheel shakes. the shaking stops after a few seconds when i'm cruising around 40-45 mph with steady brake. the rotors seem ok and aren't scratched or anything like that. what could the problem be?

Most likely your rotors are warped. What was done to them at 5,000 miles? Did the dealer replace the pads (that's supposed to be the cause of the rotors warping prematurely)? If not bring the car into Acura and mention TSB 01-017, even if the pads were replaced at 5,000 miles you may still get a dealer to do it again and turn your rotors. YMMV
