well not exactly that way but it leads to the point that chrome adds significant weight to your wheels!
but soopa if you want chrome axis 7's take these and dip them yourself it's a steal

I can't see how chrome really adds weight to a wheel. Maybe a pound or so, if that. A good chrome job is polished, nickeled, coppered, then dipped. In all, it's as thin as a piece of paper.
If these wheels were chromed, It wouldn't make a difference. I would think more of that they are 19's and that's the weight alone of that big of rim would slow you down.

true the 19"'s would slow you down a bunch too. But i had a buddy who weighed his rims before he got them dipped and they added about 5-6lbs per rim
