don't tell me your serious

haven't you ever seen that VOLK add?

says something like

CHROME HELL NO!!!!!

well not exactly that way but it leads to the point that chrome adds significant weight to your wheels!

but soopa if you want chrome axis 7's take these and dip them yourself it's a steal

true but do you have any idea how much slower you will be w/ chrome rims. The avg 18" chrome rim weighs 40lbs w/ out tires!!!!

19"

you'll be running 0-60 in 6.9-7.1 i bet

I can't see how chrome really adds weight to a wheel. Maybe a pound or so, if that. A good chrome job is polished, nickeled, coppered, then dipped. In all, it's as thin as a piece of paper.
If these wheels were chromed, It wouldn't make a difference. I would think more of that they are 19's and that's the weight alone of that big of rim would slow you down.

true the 19"'s would slow you down a bunch too. But i had a buddy who weighed his rims before he got them dipped and they added about 5-6lbs per rim
