I was wondering if anyone has put the 03 side mirrors on their 01 CL. I heard it wont fit or something. Can someone help me ?

 

They fit. I have a set sitting in my garage nad i just need them to be repainted. But they fit fine. I was planning on doing it when I go back home.

 

how much did the 03's cost you? and take plenty of pics when you install them.

 

Hum.. that's not a bad idea.. the driver side mirror drives me crazy!!! IT'S JUST TOO BIG!! Does anyone esle thinks this??

 

I thought they were a little big. My wife hated them because she said it caused a big blind spot for her. This was the reason she didn't like driving my '01. She likes the '03 mirrors better but now she doesn't like driving it because of the 6 speed. Oh well, more for me. . .

I caught a set on ebay for 100 bucks or so. I'm not sure how much junk yards are selling them for. You can check the dealers for pricing but I'm sure its pretty expensive. Yea I wanted them for the smaller mirrors since it almost caused 2 accidents when I first had the car. Better thing with the 03's is that they're smaller and tinted.

 

Yeah langjae, I was battling you for them on that auction. I remember when you won them. I thought damn I know him.

 

Damn..sorry..hehe. We got such a small community here. i lost out on other items to other members here as well. I thought I could've gotten the mirrors cheaper too. I'll drop you a line if I never get around to installing them.

 

Does the 02' have the same size of the 03'?

Yes, the "new" mirrors where introduced on the '02 model
