Just wondering if one would be able to replace the red/clear 03 tail light lens with an 01-02 all red (almost). Anybody who has seen the 03 up close have a clue. I really like the 01-02 version.

what are u nuts, i want the new lights, not my shitty old red lights, i want clears just like the boys in there TLs. LEts get some info and get this straight.

you know, when you have the blinkers on for the '03
they blink orange...
I think you should get some superwhite bulbs that blink pure white to match the clear piece..

I personally love the 03 tails. Just what I've been asking for.

Red turn signals look like shit to me. Red / clear housing with amber turn signal bulbs are exactly what I've been waiting for.

Well as with all aesthetics, its a matter of taste. When I was a young lad, replacing a tailight lens was a simple matter of taking out a few phillips head screws (from the outside). Times have changed. Anyone know how this is done on a CL?

We complained sooo much, acura made the 03 with no road lamps. I wouldn't put it pass them that they put a mounting screw in a different location in the tail lights.

Again, we wait and see.

That is very illegal. Cops in California look for that esp...

 

Not only is it illegal, but highly obnoxious to other drivers. I sat behind a bimmer the other night waiting for a left turn signal. He had hyperwhite turn signal bulbs.... man even my girlfriend thought they were blinding bright.

No way would I do that to other drivers. The night-time effect of those bulbs is just too much.
