Everybody says that they love the 03, but it just doesnt cut it for me, for what ever reason. I've always loved the 01s.

My brother was driving my car tonight and i was right behind in the other CL and I gotta say, the 01s do look way better than 03, even when u step on the brakes.

what do u prefer?

 

03's. I think the white half on top makes it look alot classier. Kind of like a mercedes.

 

nothing like a mercedes just looks better and newer for me

if you are 6 speed its a must ! :P

 

I think the 01s are more bolder looking, the 03s look too lite.

 

I got rear ended twice with 03's and never with 01's.
I don't know if that helps.
03's look nicer but,if I knew that there were actually proof the 03's were rear ended more, they would be out of there.

 

i like the 03 lights on the CL better... accept if it's SSM.. then the white looks pointless on the lights.

 

03's are by far the better choice to me, but what do I know I have a 1st gen lol.

 

01-02s look dated and cheaper.

 

 

The area that illuminates when braking has been unchanged. The only difference is the signal and reverse light portion. You were rear ended by dumbasses.

 

The 01s have grown on me, but I still prefer the 03s

idk i own a silver cl with the 01 tails and i think that if it had 03 tails it wouldn't look good. i only like the way the 03's look on black cl's.

 

To me the reverse part on 01/02 looks pink and the 03's look much more updated and clearer.

 

may be a darker tint on the 01 will make it look a lot better.

 

Speaking of '03 tails...does anyone have a driver's side they'd be willing to part with?

Oh and yes, I believe the '03 tails look a lot better, especially since I've only owned NBP CL's.

 

I think the 01's look better on certain colors.

I like the 01's the best w/ NBP and 03's the best w/SSM, AM.

 

I hear some people like the 01s better on NHB, which is what I have.
But its even more complicated for me cause I tinted my set of 03s darker then my old set of 01.



My 01s were slightly tinted, but you couldnt really tell they were. And my 03s arent really that dark, its the camera and the sun. Its more like pontiac taillight colored.
If my other set were tinted this dark, i'd be torn.

 

It's all a prefrance thing. I think they both look good to me!
