First off my car is bone stock except for the K&N drop in filter so I know it's quick but not a race car. I pull up to a light right off the Fl Turnpike in Kissimmee and this nice 07 drop top Eclipse pulls next to me and strats lunging foward and reving his stock exaust, so I'm like sure why the hell not. Light turns green and we go, I just step on it.....no SS mode or anything, just gun and go. I jump on him and keep pulling more than I expected to, up till about 75/80 which by that time he's close to 3 cars back.
I know nothing about mitsubishi so I really don't know if this is expected or not but damn it felt good to shut his ass up for a minute. He wont step to a Acura again without thinking twice.

 

I don't think eclipse is that good of a car. I know they have the 4 banger and V6 to choose from. the 4 banger is really crap, but the V6 is very powerful because of the 3.8 L block.
BUT I am never interested in eclipse, it is just like other ricey car.

I never liked them myself. The car is total garbage. I especially hated the Taco Bell decor-looking interior in the 90's version. Mitsubishi still hasn't gotten this car right. Aren't they on third generation with that thing? The 07 looks like an aerodynamic egg carton with HIPS.

 

never look down on the 07 v6 eclipse, they are 26x hp, and 6SP!!! will beat our 5 auto easily
