so this is really my first time posting on here but I have read many threads and the people here all seem very knowledgable.
My baby is just reaching 92k miles and has been just flawless and i'm not much of a customizer so needless to say i haven't required all of your expertise.
well Minnesota got hit with some storms today and my baby got riddled with hail damage. it pained me to walk outside my office today to see her all battered and bruised.
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about the repair process and if she'll ever be the same again?
and certainly, any recommendations for a good acura body shop in the minneapolis area would be very much appreciated.

My brother had his '06 Mazda3 damaged by giant hail in Tennessee. They took off all the panels that were battered and were replaced. Even the windows were cracked or shattered.

His insurance paid out almost 9k in body work and damage. It was so bad he got rid of it and got an '07 MazdaSpeed 3. LoL!

it may be pretty hefty bill on body work.

My uncle bought his RL with hail damage on every piece of the body, it looked like it had been in the middle of a golf driving range, he did Paintless Dent Repair at the Acura Dealership he bought it from for 2500 dollars and you could absolutely never tell it was damaged, he got an 05 with 14k for 30,500 because of the hail and then 2500 for repair, it was an amazing deal, ask some dealers if they know a good Paintless Dent Repair guy, you will never know it happened

I was up at Target's north campus today for a conference in Brooklyn Park. We got hail there but the CL didn't sustain any damage. Little pea sized, not like the up to golf ball sized some areas of the cities got. I wanted to go out and move it but it would have gotten soaked and pelted bad if I'd had tired to run and move it (was about 500ft outside the front door). Sorry to hear about the damage. Hope everything turns out well for you. I was kinda hoping it could get some so I could get it repainted.

I had some mobile dent removal service take care of my Acura, and I suggest you go that route. It will be better on the wallet, it also depends on the seriousness of the damage, it sounds pretty severe but you didn't post pics. Good luck though!

I like the idea of the 6 speed.

Thank you weez.....my office is just down by 694 and Boone. every car in our parking lot was hit. I just stopped by Buerkle Acura and they had over 300 cars damaged so they gave me the name of the PDR guy they send all of their vehicles to for this type of work.

I'll try and post some before and after pics when all is done.

I think driving slowly, like 35ish mph is best way to avoid hail damage.

only way to avoid hail is to be under a garage or something. last september New York got hit with a BAD hail storm, like a week after a tornado ( global warming?). luckily my acura was garaged at the time but my friend bought an 06 accord like a month before and now he has dents all over his roof. countless cars got damaged in my town. it sounded like the hail was going to break through the roof of my house.

I ran into a hail storm here in Arizona early this year. Thankfully I was in a rental car so I didn't give a sh*t what happened to it. I would've been crying if I was in my CL.
