$340 bucks for System install!!!!

is this a good price? cuz i think it sucks!! Well i went to a local shop to get a qoute on how much it would be for a custom box,install and parts. He told me $340, he says i need a line convertor,wires and all that crap. Oh by the way its $140 for the box, cuz hes gonna make it flush from top to bottom and from side to side.. ya know, kinda like how all the custom boxes are. So anywho, i have the sub speaker and amp. thats it, so is 340 all together too much for this job?

You dont need a LOC with that amp. He can use the line from the rear speakers. The JBL supports high level input. You have to make sure you use the right enclosure for that sub. It HAS to be 1.25 cu ft with a pound of polyfill. Depending on the work that needs to be done $340 would be so so.

I bought a JL audio enclosure for my Legend about 2.5 years ago. went to a local small business...

2 10" box = $400
Amp = $200
Install = $200

It cost $80 to rip it out of the Legend and install in my CLS. I went to CircutCity for that. I know nothing about mobile audio. Its amazing how that guy wired his TL (in the gallery) with all that A/V stuff. Unfourtunatly, when he was done, he decided to watch eminem. =)
