test drive
I took a test drive this morning at Acura Serramonte. The service sucks there, but its the closest dealership to me. I drove a premium because I wouldn't be able to afford a CL-S when I buy my motorcycle. I drove the CL-S as well, but a couple of months ago. Anyway I think the premium isn't bad. I really didn't notice the performance difference between the two. I have an old '91 civic si, not riced at all. So any new car is an improvement. Just wanted to see how many people have a premium and how they like it.

I'm totally happy with mine except the tires really do suck. At first I thought, great, Michelins. But they squeal at even modest turns, especially in the parking garage and don't grip well. My previous car had Dunlop SP4000's which are not top of the line grippy tires and even those are by far better. If I try to take a corner at the same speed I'll be biting the curb. Also where I live the roads are poor. The P handles them without any jarring. It does lean into corners but I figure that's the price I pay for the smoother ride. Plus like you I saved the $2000 difference for another toy.

I just paid $27k for a new Cl-p (no extras).-p If you saved 2k that means you got the cl for about 26k. I guess it's too late to worry about $$$...
