Note to Soopa:
Great idea to collect fees -- when marketers post new topics, charge for "commercial" membership by the # of pages attracted.
Can someone add some more to see if this can go to 20 pages by Monday -- it will make my day (I'm sure)

I just saw some guy offering this same "secret mod" on the BMW and IS300 forums under the handle Zephyr, and this guy actually posted a link to www.zephyrperformance.com.

EricL, great to see you acting out in public again with me the culprit no less.....Sorry I missed plugging you earlier in my comment of thanks for the bashing.
HaHaHa
I know you would have done it different, but we wouldn't get along so well if we agreed all the time. The only thing we must agree on is that when it comes to power #'s, its no BS. And if I told you what it was, there would be an HKS, Greddy, Mugen, AEM, Weapon-R, HP Performance, STR, Venom, and a Yellow Pages directory full of other companies show up at SEMA with my idea, 2 months short of a Patent, and my R & D budget blistered again with a non-recoverable loss. I do know that business savy is one of your strong suits. So I have my reasons, though you may differ. When local companies heard of our RSX turbo car, they just happened to come by for a visit with XGA digital cams and a notebook of questions....just interested were they???? Hardly. Now we hear to "other" companies locally are developing a "kit", without a car to even jig it on.
I keep my word, my products work, and I warranty them.
You know the address if you needs ta chat
BTW- Don't get Ron fired up, he's good people and as honest as the day is long. He may not know how much we enjoy trading "ideas" (aka...punches!)

Good night guys, I have to be into work tomorrow to deliver a conservatively built (320HP) turbo 2000 GS-R we built this week.
No, we don't warranty these other than workmanship.

You missed my comment about your being a marketing genius for stirring up so much "debate".
I'm taking notes...
Purchasing notes: If it works with headers and AEM CAI and has a CARB sticker, I'll buy one. Remember, I said the same thing about the 3.5L (that I would buy one), but the "economics" of the situation "prevented" Rick Case from making enough of the mods to make them.
Finally, I don't have any problem about WHAT gets built, etc. If you have a patent pending, your ass is covered. So, you could reveal, but whatever. I also stuck up for your ass when some WHINER came along complaining about "paying the piper" (you guys).
So, as with most of "all of this" -- you should do some more reading, and we've talked about the board issues, so I'm not going to go through a rehash here. I have never made a comment about doubting what is going to be produced. And I do enjoy having some fun too...
If I'm Florida, we should get together and mix up some "chum" and go out into the bay for some shark feeding -- why not stir them up -- just for the heck of it.
See ya later -- and remember, if you CARB it, they [us California folks] will come...
Signed,
Your Nemesis

Its probably not a fuel rail...
more fuel + constant air supply = rich fuel condition (Bad for power)
Our engines already run extremely rich under WOT which is why we can pick up some HP by leaning out our a/f ratio in the upper rpms.
Next time you have your car dyno'd ask for them to monitor the a/f ratio. (They normally charge an extra $15 or so)
I'm gonna guess a newly designed TB or EGR valve. Hehehe, Just throwing the EGR valve out there.

egr valve = exhaust gas recirculation valve - allows a certain amount of exhuast into the intake charge for emmission control purposes

I think its a new belt.. smaller one that bypasses all the non essentials... useless thingz like water pumps, alternators...etc...
