What service do they perform on the tranny....change oil?

 

You should ask when you ask about the cost. There is no set rule of what they will/will not do. you should also ask if they follow the normal or severe schedule (most places use severe).

Yeah, there is no set rule of what they will and will not do. He went through the list, and there was some shit I told him to take off. Like AC filters.. they wanted $120 bucks for that, I already had my own oil, oil & fuel additives, 50 bucks, and other misc stuff that was not needed.

He just called, and I'm down to $279.

 

I paid $50 ...for parts (5 quarts Mobil 1 synth, Honda ATF flush, air filters)...

 

They might as well make it part of the service to CHANGE the TRANNY, not just the fluid!
