Lowering Question

I want to lower my car and I am a little nervous because I don't want my rims to damage the tire well. I have 18x7.5 Tenzo rimes with a tire size of 225/40. I was just wondering if I have enough clearance to lower my car without having to modify the tire well. Also, I don't know if this matters, but my spokes are super close to the brake caliper. I was just curious if that was a problem at all. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I thought about just going A-spec suspension, but I want to lower it a little more than that. Any recommendations on suspension for just daily driving. Not looking for high performance, mostly for looks.

you'll have at least 1" to lower before you begin considering your offset. if you get an adjustable set, maybe just lower slightly more than 1"?

You can look for offset on the inside of the rim somewhere, it will be a two digit number, labeled by "et", and....

Alright, alright! I finally had time to take some pictures. Don't mind the dirty car, it has been raining non-stop in Seattle for the past month. What do you think?

^ Bad link.

It's great you're showing us pictures of your wheels, but look for the OFFSET number on the rim. Won't help us to guess what your offset is and give out bad information/advice.
