Eibach Pro-System

Has anybody installed the Eibach Pro-System kit yet? Tire Rack actually has it available by special order.

No has installed it yet, and (you heard it here first):

No one ever will install it.

The project is dead. There will be no Pro Damper for the TSX. Which means no Pro-System.

Somebody tell TireRack..........

I got this info directly from Eibach. It's too bad really, because with matched struts it looked to be a killer system. But I'll guess we'll never know......

Yep. That's my plan. Although I always get tempted by the Tein SS. I've heard Tein SS is a much stiffer ride than Tanabe though.

Theyre advertised as available by special order from anywhere that is a Eibach dealer, unfortunately when they call Eibach for ETA they get no relavent information and cant update thier records or customers.

I was on backorder with Tire Rack for over 4 months for this system before I gave up. I never heard back from Eibach either, and LannyM sounds like he knows what he is talking about.

I was talking to one of our vendors at work today, and we got on the subject of cars. He's got an '05 Grand Cherokee Hemi, and he put a set of 22"s on it. Now he wants to lower it, so he's been trying to find someone who stocks Eibach springs for it. I was telling him the story of what they've been doing with the TSX; so he calls Eibach directly, and he's given a very similar story; a part # exists and various vendors list it, but it hasn't been produced yet. If there's enough interest, they'll make it.

So, it seems as though that's how Eibach does it market research-put up a part # and see how many calls they get; if there's enough response they'll make it..........

Are you dead set on the ProKit?

I've experienced the TSX ProKit springs on stock struts and with Koni's, and I was really not impressed with either setup, although the Konis did improve things. But since these are the only struts currently available, I'd think about looking for a different spring. Or maybe coilovers.

Eibach seems to take their time. I had a 03 Hemi Ram before the TSX and eibach had the drop kit in development for a long time. Once it was released it was basically a reboxed Bell Tech kit. Eibach is also selling the SPC camber kit in their boxes as well.

What's so good about the Pro-system that one would go great length to get it?

I agree;

At $500, it seems like a good value, but it's been delayed so long that most people should have had time to save up a few more $$ to get a better setup; better as in height adjustment or damper adjustment or both.......
