Centerline RPMs and TinkySD
Tinky, I know you like RPMs and offset +42 creates concern. Some month ago I posted that RPMs also come with +50 offset from tire store chain named Les Schwab, that info was disputed at the old site and I called Centerline and they confirmed that offset is +42. However, I was at Les Schwab this week and raised the issue with them again, and according to their distribution manager, Les Schwab had ordered from Centerline sets of RPMs in 17x7 and 18x7 in gunmetal and silver with +50 offset specifically for Japanese cars with high offset. They still have a few sets in both sizes in their inventory.
I plan to get them in a month or two if Les Schwab still has them then.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...eelOffsets.jsp
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm
So in the case of our cars, our stock rims are +55. If you tried something that was say, only +25, then you wouldn't have enough room for your brakes. The other consideration is that going with another offset will change the handling dynamics of your car, because the geometries involved in steering will be different. This can be somewhat remedied by the use of spacers, but I don't know much more about that...
Hope that helps =)

If its possible...and there is enough interest in this lightweight wheel....Im sure they would be willing to change the process a bit for a higher offset. If they did it once theyll do it again. 12.9lbs...yum!

Thread revive! I was looking through wheelweights.net, thinking about what wheels to get for my 2006. Was looking for the RPMs but couldn't find it on centerlinewheels.com. But I did find this:
http://www.centerlinewheels.com/whee...ehicle&data=31
I saw that the photos looked a lot like the RPMs. I called them up and asked about the weight of the wheels. According to the sales rep I talked to, they only weigh 15 lbs in the box, so about 14 lbs for the wheel itself. The best part of this is: 17x7s are only $159 apiece! Meaning I could get these wheels, patiently eBay my OEMs for 200 apiece shipped, and I'd have made money while upgrading to lighter wheels. LOL.
So, would someone be willing to photoshop this for me? Here are some NBP pics:

I'd appreciate it a lot, thanks! =)
