Had to attend a wedding today so I wasn't going to be home for the showing of the Speed GT Touring racing from last weekend which our beloved RealTime TSX piloted by PK won. Decided to tivo that shiz and when I got home, pressed play....lo and behold NASCRAP from Pocono is all that was recorded!!!!! WTF? My programing guide says "speed GT touring from Utah" and now I have 2 hours of NASCRAP recorded....so pissed. I hate Speed Channel....I remember back 4 or 5 years ago they used to show real racing including WRS from Europe with the Citroen and Focus rally cars ripping through the British highlands all the time....now nothing but NASCRAP. Sorry about the rant, but had to get that out

 

I was going to write something about this too, but it was the IRCA race and they must have had a million yellows. I was pretty pissed to, but in there defense, they did air it. It aired about 1 1/2 hrs after its scheduled time.

BTW, RTR races SPEED TC, not GT. It has been said many times, SPEED is owned by NASCAR, so what do ya think they're gonna play. I wish they'd just make 2 different Speed Channels; SPEED NASCAR and SPEED real racing.

 

Personally Nascar ain't me... like many of you lol. But I do give credit to those who race because it does take a tremendous amount of skill to do it because of the conditions the drivers are in.

 

i think they're schedule shows its replaying twice this week, tivo it then.

I would be nice if the had something like Speed TV and Speedvision. I was the opposite of everybody. I forgot about the race and happen to change the TV at the beginning of the race.

 

Now that's a nice surprise.
